HELPING HORSES AND HUMANS ACHIEVE OPTIMAL WELLNESS

Personalized Holistic Healing

MY HOLISTIC PRACTICE

PHILOSOPHY

Profile picture of website owner

The ancient practice of holistic health care is a form of healing that considers the whole body in the pursuit of optimal health and wellness. With that in mind, as a holistic practitioner I believe the whole person or animal is a collection of interdependent parts and if one part isn't working the way it should, it will create an imbalance. The goal of my practice is to correct these imbalances to help you gain optimal health and wellness.

In practical terms, this means when you come to me with an issue, I don't just treat you or your equine's symptoms. I use my 14 years experience as an animal and human health care provider, along with my specialized training and 30+ years of riding, coaching and showing horses, to help me create a session plan that will bring you and/or you equine's whole body back into balance.

As a Certified Bowen Health Therapist (CBHT), Certified Equi-Bow Therapist (CEBT) and Certified Equine Acupressure Practitioner (CEAP), each session is personalized to your area(s) of concern and may including one or more of the following: Bowen Therapy, Equi-Bow Therapy, Equine Acupressure, kinesiotaping, aromatherapy or cold laser therapy.

"When you touch one thing with deep awareness,
you touch everything.

SERVICES
BOWEN THERAPY

Bowen therapy is a gentle, hands on therapy involving a series of movements on the body followed by a pause. It is designed to stimulate nerve pathways and reorganize tight muscles and fascia within the body.

EQUINE ACUPRESSURE

Acupressure is an ancient form of therapy used in Traditional Chinese Medicine. It involves the application of manual pressure (usually with the fingertips) to specific points along the meridians, or energetic pathways, of the body.

EQUI-BOW THERAPY

Equi-Bow is a unique form of equine body work that combines multiple modalities including Bowen, Craniosacral and Feldenkrais techniques to stimulate and promote healing from the inside out.

KINESIOTAPING

Kinesiotaping is a therapeutic taping technique whereby elastic tape is applied to specific areas of the body to help reduce pain and inflammation, prevent injury and promote circulation. This technique facilitates the body's natural healing process.

AROMATHERAPY
COLD LASER THERAPY

Aromatherapy uses all natural plant extracts, called essential oils, to stimulate areas of the brain that promote physical and emotion well-being. Essential oils are meant to be inhaled or applied to the skin.

Cold laser therapy applies low-level light directly to a targeted area to stimulate healing. This painless and non-invasive therapy works by increasing circulation to repair tissue, ease pain and reduce inflammation.
